Chris' Story
I have had an interest in classic cars and antiques as far back as I can remember. I have a particular interest in 1930's cars and am constantly learning what it takes to keep them running and how to make them drive better or go faster.  I currently drive a 1928 roadster, a 1935 sedan and am working on a 1938 Ford COE truck project.

My fascination with 1930’s American cars and everything that helped make them run eventually spread to my enthusiasm for service station collectibles. A now close friend, Darcy, gets credit for being the first to show me his collection and allowing the addiction to fully take hold. We have been lucky enough to travel across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan meeting interesting people and continuing the hunt for more fascinating items.

That said I focus my collection on Canadian brands which I’ve tried to list in my wanted section on this website. I collect anything from oil cans to buckets, porcelain and tin signs as well as pre-1950’s gas pumps. I still consider myself as a relatively new collector as I only started collecting petroliana in 2008.

As most collectors, I sometimes end up with extra items from other collections or sales. It is these items that I’ll list for sale or trade on this site in an effort to help expand my collection. Collecting service station memorabilia is a fairly small world and this website is designed to help me reach more people that I might not otherwise have the opportunity to meet. Since this is a hobby, I truly hope this website will help both myself and other collectors.

Happy Collecting!

Chris
